Lamare Trenton Chansey Bogarde

Lamare Trenton Chansey Bogarde is a Dutch defender who developed at Feyenoord before moving to Aston Villa in September 2020. At Villa, he progressed through the academy and helped the under-18 side defeat Liverpool 2–1 in the 2021 FA Youth Cup final. Bogarde made his senior debut for Aston Villa in an FA Cup tie against Liverpool during the 2020–21 season. He later spent two loan spells with Bristol Rovers, gaining League One experience while also operating in central midfield. Returning to Villa in early 2024, Bogarde made his Premier League debut against Leicester City in August 2024. His versatility has seen him used as a defensive midfielder, central midfielder and right-back, with his positioning helping Villa build from the back. Bogarde has represented the Netherlands from under-15 level through the under-21s, making his debut for the under-21 side in March 2025.
