Luis Thomas Binks

Luis Thomas Binks is an English centre-back who developed at Tottenham Hotspur after joining the academy as a six-year-old. He captained Tottenham’s Under-18 side and gained experience in UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy competition before leaving England for Montreal Impact in February 2020. Binks began his senior career in Major League Soccer, then moved to Bologna, remaining with Montreal on loan before making his Serie A debut against Empoli in September 2021. He continued his Italian development with Como 1907, making 33 appearances in Serie B during the 2022–23 season. In 2023, Binks joined Coventry City on loan and made the move permanent in 2024, adapting to the Championship’s physical demands. A left-footed defender, Binks can operate in a back four or as the left-sided centre-back in a back three, contributing vertical passes and diagonal switches. He joined Brondby in 2025 and has represented England and Scotland at youth level.
