Lameck Banda

Lameck Banda is a Zambian forward from Lusaka who developed in the country’s domestic game before moving into European football. He began with Nkwazi and later joined ZESCO United, gaining experience in Zambia and continental competition. In 2019, Banda moved to Russia to join Arsenal Tula, then continued his development in Israel with Maccabi Netanya and Maccabi Petah Tikva. His performances in Israel led to a move to Lecce in August 2022, bringing him to Serie A. Banda made his mark as a wide attacker, using acceleration and close control to carry the ball, cut inside or reach the byline. He also contributes by stretching defences and tracking back, offering Lecce an energetic outlet on the flank. At international level, he represents Zambia and has been involved with the Zambia U23 setup.
