Leon Bailey attacks space on the left flank, weaving runs and threatening the channel to unlock compact back lines. Bailey rose at Genk, earning the Belgian Young Professional Footballer of the Year in 2015–16. He moved to Leverkusen in 2017. In August 2021, Bailey joined Aston Villa, bringing his pace to the Premier League. During 2023–24, Bailey scored 14 goals and contributed 52 appearances as Villa qualified for the UEFA Champions League. As a Jamaica winger, Bailey stretches defenses and presses high to force turnovers from the front. He attacks the back post and links play with one-touch layoffs when space opens. Leon Bailey keeps driving at defenders to finish moves quickly.
