Hans Carl Ludwig Augustinsson

Hans Carl Ludwig Augustinsson is a Swedish defender, primarily a left-back, born in Stockholm in 1994. He developed at IF Brommapojkarna and made his senior debut in Sweden’s second tier before moving to IFK Göteborg in January 2013. After establishing himself in the Allsvenskan, Augustinsson joined FC Copenhagen in 2015 and became a regular, contributing from the flank with his left-footed delivery. In 2017, he transferred to Werder Bremen, where he spent four seasons as a Bundesliga starter. He later continued his career with Sevilla, Aston Villa on loan and Mallorca on loan, gaining experience in Spain and England. Augustinsson represented Sweden at youth and senior level, helped the Under-21 side win the 2015 European Championship and scored against Mexico at the 2018 World Cup. He is now part of Anderlecht’s defensive group, offering positioning, width and build-up quality.
