Kouka, Ahmed Hassan Mohamed Abdelmonem Mohamed Mahgoub, attacks space as a lone centre-forward, uses hold-up strength to shield the ball, and pins centre-backs to feed runners. Kouka moved to Rio Ave in 2012, establishing himself in Europe. He then broke through at Braga. Kouka helped Braga win the Taça de Portugal in 2016. A turning point arrived in Greece with Olympiacos, and in 2017 he was part of Egypt's AFCON runners-up squad. As a forward, Kouka links play with one-touch lay-offs and poses a primary aerial and finisher threat. Kouka gets shots off quickly and remains a constant central option for his team.
