Francisco Femenía Far

Kiko Femenía, whose full name is Francisco Femenía Far, is a Spanish right-back born in Alicante on 2 February 1991. He developed at Hércules and made his senior debut in the Segunda División in 2008, later helping the club win promotion to La Liga in 2009–10. Femenía then spent 2011–13 with Barcelona B, where his early career was still shaped largely by a wide attacking role. At Alavés from 2015 to 2017, he was converted into a full-back, using his pace, stamina and crossing from deeper positions while taking on greater defensive responsibility. That reinvention led to a move to Watford, where he played in the Premier League from 2017 to 2022 and established himself as a dependable right-sided defender. Returning to Spain, he joined Villarreal in 2022 before moving to Getafe, adding experience across La Liga and England. His career traces a progression from winger to versatile full-back, with overlapping runs, width and one-on-one defending central to his game.
