Enrique García Martínez

Kike García is a Spanish centre-forward from Motilla del Palancar, born Enrique García Martínez on 25 November 1989. He developed with CD Quintanar del Rey before joining Real Murcia at 18 and moving from its reserves into the first team. García made his Segunda División debut in 2009 and scored his first professional goal soon afterwards, then produced 23 goals in 2013-14 to finish joint second among the division’s scorers. In 2014, he moved to Middlesbrough, scoring on his debut against Birmingham City and later netting in an FA Cup victory over Manchester City. After returning to Spain in 2016, Kike established himself at Eibar as a physical focal point who combined hold-up play, aerial contests and defensive pressing. His 12-goal 2020-21 season included a hat-trick against Alavés, despite Eibar’s relegation. He subsequently played for Osasuna and Alavés, finishing as the 2022-23 Copa del Rey’s top scorer during Osasuna’s run to the final, before joining Espanyol in 2025.
