Enrique Barja Alfonso

Kike Barja, whose full name is Enrique Barja Alfonso, is a Spanish right winger born in Pamplona in 1997. He joined Osasuna’s Tajonar academy as an eight-year-old in 2005 and progressed through the club’s system. Barja made his senior debut for Osasuna B in 2013 before reaching the first team in 2017. He made his La Liga debut against Sevilla on the final day of the 2016–17 season, when Osasuna were relegated. In 2018–19, he helped Osasuna win the La Liga 2 title, contributing three goals and six assists in 34 appearances. A right-footed wide attacker, Kike Barja has operated on either flank and is noted for dribbling, crossing, key passes and defensive tracking. He has remained with Osasuna, developing from an academy prospect into an experienced wide option.
