Kartal Kayra Yılmaz

Kartal Kayra Yılmaz is a Turkish midfielder from Kocaeli, born on 4 November 2000. He developed at Kocaeli BB Kağıtspor before joining Beşiktaş’s academy and progressing through its youth ranks. With Beşiktaş’s U19 side, Yılmaz signed his first professional contract in 2019. During his academy years, he helped the club win the U21 Super Cup and U21 Süper Lig titles in 2017–18. He made his senior debut on 24 October 2019, appearing for Beşiktaş in a UEFA Europa League match against Braga. Seeking regular first-team football, he spent the 2021–22 season with Ümraniyespor in the TFF First League. Yılmaz is now part of Beşiktaş’s squad, providing a holding-midfield option whose game features passing, long distribution and set-piece delivery.
