Kyan Vaesen

Kyan Vaesen is a Belgian forward who developed in KVC Westerlo’s academy after joining the club as a pre-teen in 2011. He progressed through Westerlo’s youth system until 2018 before continuing his professional rise with the club. During the 2021–22 season, Vaesen helped Westerlo win the First Division B title and gain promotion to Belgium’s top flight. Standing 1.90 metres, he offers a central target through his aerial play, hold-up work and layoffs, while also contributing to pressing and defensive blocks. Vaesen moved to the Netherlands on loan with Willem II in 2024, scoring in each of his first two Eredivisie appearances for the club. He later recorded four goals in 31 Eredivisie appearances during the 2024–25 campaign. In February 2026, Vaesen joined OH Leuven permanently, continuing his career in Belgian football.
