Konstantinos Tzolakis

Konstantinos Tzolakis is a Greek goalkeeper born in Chania on 8 November 2002. Standing 1.93 metres tall, he first pursued high jump with the Eleftherios Venizelos Sports Club in Chania, competing at national championships. He began playing football at 12, spending three seasons with Platanias before joining Olympiacos’s academy in 2018. At 17, Tzolakis made his senior debut in a 2019 Greek Cup semi-final and started the 2020 final, keeping a clean sheet in Olympiacos’s 1–0 victory over AEK Athens. After several seasons as a reserve, he made his European debut in a 2021 Champions League qualifier against Neftçi, again recording a clean sheet. His breakthrough came in 2023–24, when he saved three penalties in the Conference League quarter-final shootout against Fenerbahçe and played in the semi-finals and final, helping Olympiacos defeat Fiorentina 1–0. Tzolakis has also progressed through Greece’s youth teams into the senior national side.
