Konstantinos Tsimikas
Konstantinos Tsimikas is a Greek left-back born in Thessaloníki on 12 May 1996. He developed in Greece, joining Panserraikos in 2013 before moving to Olympiakos Piraeus, where he made his senior debut in 2015. Olympiakos Piraeus loaned Tsimikas to Danish club Esbjerg in 2017 and then to Willem II for the 2017–18 season. At Willem II, he started 32 of 34 Eredivisie matches and scored five goals, including a scorpion-kick finish, before returning to Greece. His performances helped him earn Greek Footballer of the Year in 2020, after which Liverpool signed him as competition for Andy Robertson at left-back. Tsimikas won the 2022 FA Cup with Liverpool, scoring the decisive seventh penalty in the shootout against Chelsea. He also became the first Greek player to lift the Premier League trophy when Liverpool won the title in May 2025, while continuing to represent Greece internationally.
