Kieran Tierney

Kieran Tierney is a Scotland international left-back who can also operate in a back three. Born in Douglas on the Isle of Man, he moved to Scotland as an infant and joined Celtic’s academy at seven. He made his senior Celtic debut in April 2015, developing into a regular and earning three consecutive PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year awards from 2016 to 2018. Tierney won eight major domestic trophies during his first Celtic spell. In 2019, he transferred to Arsenal, where he helped win the 2020 FA Cup and played in the final against Chelsea. He spent the 2023–24 season on loan at Real Sociedad, gaining experience in La Liga. After returning to Celtic in June 2025, Kieran Tierney resumed his career with the club where he first established himself. He has also represented Scotland, adapting to a left-sided centre-back role when required.
