Konstantinos Thymianis

Konstantinos Thymianis is a Greek defender who developed at Iraklis Ptolemaida before joining Xanthi’s academy in 2015. He progressed into Xanthi’s senior side and made his professional debut in a Greek Cup match against OFI Crete in September 2018. Across his Xanthi spell, he made 57 appearances. In 2021–22, Thymianis was named the top young player in Super League 2’s northern group. After leaving Xanthi, he joined Panserraikos in September 2022. He helped the Serres-based club achieve promotion, and in 2023–24 he recorded 18 appearances and four goals in the Greek top flight. His versatility has seen him used as both a centre-back and defensive midfielder, combining defensive work with forward passing and aerial involvement. PAOK signed Thymianis in June 2024, adding him to its squad and offering a route to a higher level of competition.
