Kajetan Szmyt

Kajetan Szmyt is a Polish midfielder born in Poznań on 29 May 2002. He developed with Warta Poznań between 2012 and 2019, before gaining senior experience during spells at Górnik Polkowice and Nielba Wągrowiec from 2020 to 2022. Returning to Warta, Szmyt produced seven goals and two assists in 33 appearances during the 2023–24 season. His displays earned him a move to Zagłębie Lubin in 2024, where he recorded one goal and three assists in the 2025–26 campaign before leaving mid-season. In February 2026, Szmyt joined Jagiellonia Białystok, adding a new stage to his domestic career. Used across wide and advanced midfield roles, he is noted for dribbling, chance creation and pressing, while his late equaliser against Pogoń Szczecin secured a 3–3 draw. Szmyt has also represented Poland at under-21 level, with 21 caps and three goals.
