Abdou Karim Sow

Abdou Karim Sow is a Swiss defender who stands 1.99m tall and is registered with Lausanne. He began his development at FC Estavayer-le-Lac and FC Fribourg before joining the BSC Young Boys academy. Sow moved to Lausanne-Sport in March 2021, beginning his senior pathway with the club. He made his senior debut against FC Basel on 24 August 2021, in a 2-2 draw. During the 2023-24 season, he gained further experience on loan at FC Stade Nyonnais in the Swiss Challenge League. After returning to Lausanne, Sow established himself as a tall central defender, with his aerial presence and physical defending central to his profile. He has also represented Switzerland at under-19 and under-20 levels and has featured in UEFA Europa Conference League matches.
