Kyriani Sabbe

Kyriani Sabbe is a Belgian defender born in Ghent on 26 January 2005. He began playing with KFC Ichtegem before joining Club Brugge’s academy in 2011, progressing through the club’s age groups. Sabbe entered senior development with Club NXT, Club Brugge’s reserve side, and debuted in the Challenger Pro League against RFC Seraing on 31 January 2021. That appearance made him the youngest player ever to feature in Belgium’s second division, aged 16. Added to Club Brugge’s senior squad in November 2022, he made his first-team debut against KV Mechelen on 2 April 2023. Primarily a right-back, Sabbe has also operated at left-back and right midfield, contributing forward passing and crossing alongside recovery work. He has represented Belgium at under-21 level and was involved in Club Brugge’s 2023–24 Belgian title-winning campaign.
