Kye Francis Rowles

Kye Francis Rowles is an Australian centre-back born in Kiama on 24 June 1998. He developed through Palm Beach SC, the Queensland Academy of Sport and the FFA Centre of Excellence before making his professional debut for Brisbane Roar in 2017. Later that year, Rowles joined Central Coast Mariners, where he established himself over five seasons and made more than 100 appearances. In 2022, he moved to Scottish club Heart of Midlothian, continuing his development in European football. Rowles played all 120 minutes of Australia’s 2022 World Cup qualifying play-off against Peru, a goalless draw decided on penalties. He then started all four of Australia’s matches at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Rowles later moved to D.C. United, adding MLS to a career that has taken him from Australia’s youth system to international football.
