Klinti Qato

Klinti Qato is an Albanian midfielder, born on 23 December 1997 in Kuçovë. He began his recorded senior career with Teuta Durrës during the 2018–19 season before moving to Luftëtari Gjirokastër in 2019. At Luftëtari, Qato gained regular top-flight experience and continued developing his defensive responsibilities in central midfield. He joined Tomori Berat in 2020, where he scored his first recorded professional goal against Lushnja in February 2021. Qato then spent three seasons with Laçi from 2021 to 2024, adding experience in UEFA Conference League qualifying. In July 2024, he moved to Vllaznia Shkodër, where he remains part of the squad. Primarily a central midfielder, Qato can also operate in a deeper defensive role, using positional awareness, interceptions and simple passing to support possession and protect the defence.
