Kristóf Papp

Kristóf Papp is a Hungarian midfielder, born in Kerepestarcsa on 14 May 1993. He joined Paks in July 2015, beginning a long association with the club in Hungary’s top flight. Papp made his Paks debut in August 2015, starting a career built on consistency and positional discipline. Primarily a defensive midfielder, he can also operate centrally, protecting the back four, closing passing lanes and offering a safe passing option under pressure. His role is less about spectacular risk-taking than retaining possession and supporting the team’s structure. Papp helped Paks defeat Ferencváros 2–0 in the 2024 Magyar Kupa final and was part of the side that retained the trophy in 2025 after a 0–0 draw and 4–3 shootout win against the same opponents. He remains registered with Paks, where his experience continues to anchor the midfield.
