Kane Andrei Timothy Owen

Kane Andrei Timothy Owen is a Welsh football defender whose senior career has been closely associated with Penybont. He joined Penybont in July 2016 and became part of the side that won promotion to the JD Cymru Premier in 2018–19. During that same season, Owen helped the University of South Wales secure a league-and-cup double and was named its Best Male Sportsperson. His leadership was recognised when he became Penybont captain by the 2020–21 campaign. Owen has operated primarily at left-back or wing-back, with the versatility to move into left midfield or central midfield and contribute through his left-footed delivery. He represented Wales C three times, including the 1–0 win over England C in March 2024, and captained Penybont in European qualifying. He is currently listed with Trefelin.
