Kwadwo Opoku
Kwadwo Opoku is a Ghanaian forward born in Accra on 13 July 2001. He developed at the Attram De Visser Soccer Academy before moving to the United States and joining Los Angeles FC in 2020. At LAFC, Opoku made his debut against Seattle Sounders and became a useful attacking option in a squad containing Carlos Vela. In 2022, he appeared in all 34 regular-season matches, scoring seven goals and providing three assists as LAFC won the Supporters’ Shield and MLS Cup. He also scored the winning goal against Cruz Azul in the 2020 CONCACAF Champions League quarter-final. LAFC later transferred Opoku to CF Montréal in July 2023, where he continued as a forward capable of operating wide or centrally. He has represented Ghana at under-17, under-20 and under-23 level, and is registered with Panetolikos.
