Kamal Anthony Miller

Kamal Anthony Miller is a Canadian centre-back born in Scarborough. He developed with Malvern SC, North Scarborough SC and Vaughan Azzurri before playing college football at Syracuse from 2015 to 2018. At Syracuse, Miller became a regular starter, helped the Orange reach their first College Cup in 2015, and later captained the team. His final season brought All-ACC and All-South Region recognition. Orlando City selected him 27th overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, where he also gained experience at left-back. After Austin FC selected him in the 2020 Expansion Draft, he was traded to CF Montréal. In Montréal, he established himself as a left-sided defender, won the 2021 Canadian Championship and became an MLS All-Star in 2022. He joined Inter Miami in 2023, helping the club win the Leagues Cup, and moved to the Portland Timbers in 2024. Miller has also represented Canada, including every minute of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
