Kerim Memija

Kerim Memija is a Bosnia and Herzegovina defender from Sarajevo. He developed at Željezničar Sarajevo, where he signed his first professional contract in January 2014 and debuted later that year. After establishing himself in the first team, he moved to Vejle Boldklub in early 2017. At Vejle, he helped win the Danish 1st Division title in 2018, securing promotion to the Superliga. Primarily a right-back, Memija also operated as a right midfielder and occasionally on the left. He returned to Bosnia in 2021 with Zrinjski, winning Premijer Liga titles in 2021/22 and 2022/23 and contributing during the club’s successful domestic period. Internationally, Kerim Memija represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at under-21 level, earning 20 caps between 2015 and 2018. He is listed with Persija, adding another chapter to a career spanning Bosnia and Denmark.
