Melingo Kevin Mbabu

Melingo Kevin Mbabu is a Swiss right-back born on 19 April 1995 in Chêne-Bougeries. He developed at Servette FC, where he made his professional debut as a teenager. In 2016, Mbabu joined BSC Young Boys on loan before making the move permanent, helping the club win the Swiss Super League in 2017–18. His energetic displays on the right flank earned him a 2019 transfer to VfL Wolfsburg, where he continued as an athletic full-back in the Bundesliga. After his time in Germany, he played for Fulham and had loan spells with Servette FC and FC Augsburg. Mbabu later joined FC Midtjylland in August 2024, extending his career into Denmark. At international level, he represents Switzerland and was involved in the team’s Euro 2020 campaign. Known for recovery speed, stamina and strength in duels, Mbabu also supports attacks with overlapping runs and crosses.
