Keisuke Kurokawa

Keisuke Kurokawa is a Japanese defender born in Akashi on April 13, 1997. He developed at Osaka Touin High School before attending Kansai University, following the university route into professional football. In 2019, Gamba Osaka named him a Special Designated Player, enabling him to train and play with the senior squad while completing his studies. Kurokawa officially joined Gamba in 2020 and initially competed with experienced defenders for playing time. His versatility across left-back, left wing-back and inverted full-back roles helped him establish himself. The 2022 and 2023 seasons marked his rise from rotation player to regular starter, with his buildup work particularly prominent in 2023. Kurokawa is also listed with DC United in current squad data.
