Kevin Jesús Kelsy Genez

Kevin Jesús Kelsy Genez is a Venezuelan centre-forward born in Valencia on 27 July 2004. He began his senior career with Mineros de Guayana, becoming a regular in 2022 and scoring five goals in 31 appearances. Kelsy briefly joined Boston River in January 2023 before moving to Shakhtar Donetsk, where he won the 2022–23 Ukrainian Premier League. He scored on his UEFA Champions League debut against Porto in September 2023, a notable early European milestone. In April 2024, Kelsy joined FC Cincinnati on loan and scored six goals in 25 appearances, leading MLS teenagers in scoring that season. Portland Timbers then signed him permanently on 22 January 2025 as a U22 Initiative Player, with the forward contracted through 2028. Kelsy has also represented Venezuela at senior and under-23 level, offering a tall central presence with aerial ability and defensive pressing.
