Kirill Kaplenko

Kirill Kaplenko is a Belarusian midfielder born in Molodechno on 15 June 1999. He developed in the academies of Dinamo Minsk and Bate Borisov before moving to Russia in 2017 to continue his progression with Zenit St Petersburg. Kaplenko made his Russian Premier League debut for Zenit against Ufa in September 2017. He then joined Orenburg, initially on loan in 2020, and became an established presence in the club’s midfield during a spell that included more than 100 appearances. In February 2024, he moved to Baltika Kaliningrad, where he scored twice in 11 appearances, before later playing for Khimki and Spartak Kostroma. Kaplenko has represented Belarus since making his senior international debut in late 2022, including involvement in Euro 2024 qualifying. He is currently listed with Bate Borisov.
