Kristijan Jakić

Kristijan Jakić is a Croatian defensive midfielder born in Split on 14 May 1997. He began playing at NK Mračaj Runović, then spent four years with NK Imotski before joining RNK Split’s academy. Jakić made his senior debut for RNK Split in 2015, appearing in a 1–1 draw with Osijek. After RNK Split’s relegation in 2017, he moved to Lokomotiva Zagreb and used a loan spell at Istra 1961 to advance his career. Dinamo Zagreb signed him for the 2020–21 season, when he helped the club win the Croatian league and cup double while gaining experience. In August 2021, Jakić joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan and contributed to their unbeaten Europa League campaign, which ended with victory over Rangers in the final. He later represented Croatia at the 2022 World Cup, where the team finished third, before moving to FC Augsburg in January 2024 as a versatile midfield or defensive option.
