Christian Kjetil Haug

Christian Kjetil Haug is a Norwegian goalkeeper born in Halden on 12 June 1998. He developed at Kvik Halden and Sarpsborg 08 before joining Manchester City’s academy in 2014, choosing an English pathway at 16. During four years there, he worked in a ball-playing goalkeeping environment before returning to Norway in 2018. Following loans at Elverum and Sogndal, Haug moved to Vålerenga in 2019, made the transfer permanent and established himself in the Eliteserien. In June 2022, Toulouse signed Haug, giving him a route into Ligue 1. He was Toulouse’s designated goalkeeper in the 2022–23 Coupe de France campaign, starting six matches as the club won the trophy. Subsequent loans to Sarpsborg 08, Bodø/Glimt and Odd kept him playing, while his current squad listing is with GO Ahead Eagles.
