Kevin De Bruyne

Kevin De Bruyne is a Belgian attacking midfielder born in Drongen on 28 June 1991. He developed at KVV Drongen and KAA Gent before joining Genk, where he progressed into the first team and helped the club win the Belgian title in 2011. Chelsea signed De Bruyne in 2012, but his opportunities were limited, and he subsequently spent a season on loan at Werder Bremen. In 2014, he moved to VfL Wolfsburg, where his creativity and passing made him a Bundesliga standout and earned him German Footballer of the Year recognition. Manchester City signed De Bruyne in 2015, and he became central to the club’s possession game, advancing the ball, supplying attackers and striking from distance. He won six Premier League titles with City and was part of the team that completed the historic treble in 2023. In July 2025, De Bruyne joined Napoli while continuing to represent Belgium internationally.
