Kayne Bonnevie

Kayne Bonnevie is a French goalkeeper born in Écully on 22 July 2001. He began playing in French Guiana with Le Geldar before returning to metropolitan France and joining Olympique Lyonnais’s academy in 2016. At Lyon, Bonnevie developed through the under-19 and reserve teams and signed his first professional contract in April 2021. He moved to Quevilly-Rouen Métropole in July 2023, seeking regular senior football after progressing behind established goalkeepers at Lyon. Bonnevie made his professional debut on 4 November 2023, starting in Quevilly-Rouen’s 3–1 Ligue 2 victory over Rodez. Standing 1.91 metres, he offers a strong physical presence in goal and is also left-footed, giving him an option when building play from the back. His career has since included Quevilly’s senior and reserve structures, continuing a gradual progression from academy football to the professional game.
