Karim Belmahi

Karim Belmahi is a French midfielder born on 18 October 2002. He developed in the Lyon area and spent part of his youth career in the OGC Nice academy, competing in the Championnat National U19 and Coupe Gambardella. Belmahi returned to Lyon when he joined Lyon Duchère on 1 July 2023, linking his development to the club’s senior setup and Lyon Duchère II. His game has been described as versatile across wide and attacking positions, with agility, close control and the ability to use either foot supporting his work in tight spaces. On 10 May 2025, he scored in Lyon Duchère’s 2–1 derby victory over Olympique Lyonnais B after a counter-attack. Belmahi has also featured in the Coupe de France, including a substitute appearance against Toulouse, gaining experience against higher-level opposition.
