Héctor Junior Firpo Adames

Junior Firpo, whose full name is Héctor Junior Firpo Adames, is a left-back born in Santo Domingo and raised in Spain. He developed with Atlético Benamiel, CD Tiro Pichón and Puerto Malagueño before joining Real Betis’ academy in 2014 and reaching the first team in 2018. At Betis, Firpo established himself as an attack-minded full-back or wing-back, using his pace and forward runs in La Liga and the Europa League. He moved to Barcelona in 2019 after helping Spain Under-21s win the European Championship, competing with Jordi Alba during two seasons at Camp Nou. In 2021, he joined Leeds United, where his early spell included relegation from the Premier League. Firpo later produced four goals and 10 assists in the 2024–25 Championship campaign as Leeds earned promotion. He returned to Real Betis in July 2025 and has represented the Dominican Republic after previously playing for Spain Under-21s.
