Juan Francisco García Peña

Juanfri, whose full name is Juan Francisco García Peña, is a Spanish centre-forward born in Fuengirola on 1 October 1989. He began in the youth systems of his hometown before progressing through the lower divisions, representing Unión Estepona, UD San Pedro, CD El Palo, Lucena CF and La Roda CF. In 2019, Juanfri joined CF Intercity, where he became part of the club’s rise from the regional leagues and contributed during its push towards the Primera Federación. His career later took him abroad to Gibraltar, where he played for St Joseph’s and adapted to a different league environment. As a central striker, Juanfri has been used as a reference point, leading the line and providing a target for forward passes and crosses. His long career across Spain and Gibraltar reflects a forward who has continued to contribute at senior level through changing club and tactical settings.
