Juan Miranda González

Juan Miranda González is a Spanish defender who primarily plays at left-back for Bologna. Born in Olivares on 19 January 2000, he began his development at Real Betis before joining Barcelona’s academy in 2014. He made his senior debut for Barcelona B in 2017 and appeared for the first team in the Champions League against Tottenham in December 2018. Seeking regular football, Miranda joined Schalke 04 on a two-year loan in 2019, making 11 Bundesliga appearances in 2019–20. He returned to Spain with Real Betis in 2020, initially on loan, before completing a permanent move in 2021. At Betis, Miranda won the 2022 Copa del Rey, scoring the decisive penalty in the final shootout against Valencia. He moved to Bologna on a free transfer in July 2024 and has continued his career in Serie A.
