Juan Antonio Iglesias Sánchez

Juan Iglesias is a Spanish right-back who can also cover other defensive roles. Born in Valladolid on 3 July 1998, he developed at Real Valladolid and made his senior debut for the club’s reserves in August 2015. In 2017, he joined UD Logroñés, where he was converted to right-back in April 2018. Juan Iglesias joined Getafe B in July 2019, building a route into the senior side. He made his first-team debut in the Copa del Rey in December 2020, then appeared in La Liga against Atlético Madrid thirteen days later. Getafe promoted him to the first-team squad for 2021–22, and he later scored his first professional goal against Osasuna on 18 September 2022. Listed with Sevilla, Iglesias brings experience of reserve football, top-flight competition and positional adaptation.
