José Martínez Marsà

José Marsà is a Spanish defender born in Esplugues de Llobregat on 4 March 2002. He developed at FC Barcelona’s La Masia academy and reached Barcelona B in 2020. In July 2021, Marsà moved to Sporting CP, initially joining the reserves before making his senior debut in a 4–0 victory over Santa Clara in May 2022. He also represented Spain at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Seeking regular first-team football, Marsà joined Sporting de Gijón on loan in 2023 and later moved to FC Andorra, where he made 30 appearances during the 2023–24 season. He joined KV Mechelen in July 2024 and has continued his development in Belgium. Primarily a centre-back, Marsà can also operate at left-back and contributes to build-up play from defence.
