José Ángel Carmona Navarro

José Ángel Carmona is a Spanish right-back from El Viso del Alcor, born on 29 January 2002. He joined Sevilla's academy at seven and progressed through its age-group sides, often captaining youth teams. Carmona began senior football with Sevilla Atlético, making his debut in a 2–1 victory over Córdoba on 21 November 2020. After renewing his Sevilla contract in 2021, he made his first-team and La Liga debut against Rayo Vallecano on 13 March 2022, replacing Marcos Acuña. He then gained experience on loan at Elche in January 2023 and Getafe from July 2023. At Getafe, he made 30 league appearances in 2023–24, developing his defensive game in a demanding setting. Returned to Sevilla, Carmona offers versatility as a right-back who can also play as a right wing-back or right midfielder.
