José Antonio Ferrández Pomares

José Antonio Ferrández Pomares, known as Josan, is a Spanish right winger born in Crevillente. He completed his development at Elche but began his senior career with UD Horadada in 2008. Josan then played for Villajoyosa CF, Crevillente Deportivo and La Hoya Lorca, helping La Hoya secure promotion to Segunda División B in 2013. After joining Granada CF in 2014, he spent time on loan at SD Huesca and UCAM Murcia, continuing a run of promotions before also rising with Albacete. On 31 December 2017, he returned to Elche, joining the club while it was in the third tier. He helped Elche reach La Liga in 2020 and scored his first top-flight goal against Valencia that October. Primarily a wide attacker, Josan later took on right-midfield and wing-back duties, combining crossing with greater defensive responsibility.
