Jorge Herrando Oroz

Jorge Herrando is a Spanish centre-back who represents Osasuna. Born in Campanas on 28 February 2001, he developed through Osasuna’s Tajonar academy and progressed into the club’s reserve side. He made his senior debut for Osasuna B in May 2018, appearing against CD Vitoria in Segunda División B. Herrando later established himself with the reserves before moving into first-team football. In December 2020, he made his Osasuna first-team debut in a Copa del Rey match against UD Tomares. During the 2021–22 season, he gained experience on loan at UD Logroñés in the Primera División RFEF. Herrando made his LaLiga debut for Osasuna against Barcelona in May 2023, a demanding first top-flight appearance. Standing 1.90 metres tall, he offers a strong aerial presence and contributes to defensive clearances and build-up play from centre-back.
