Jon Pacheco Dozagarat

Jon Pacheco Dozagarat is a Spanish defender born in Elizondo on January 8, 2001. He began at CD Baztán before joining Real Sociedad’s Zubieta academy in 2013. Pacheco progressed through the club’s youth system and reserves, making his senior debut in December 2018. He made his La Liga debut for Real Sociedad on June 29, 2020, starting against Getafe. A left-footed centre-back, he contributes to build-up play with composed distribution and relies on positioning and timely interventions. He scored his first top-flight goal with a header in a 1–0 victory over Alavés on March 31, 2024. At international level, Jon Pacheco has represented Spain in youth football, including the under-18 and under-23 sides, and he was part of Real Sociedad’s Copa del Rey-winning team in 2019–20.
