Jon Guridi Aldalur

Jon Guridi is a Spanish central midfielder born in Azpeitia in 1995. He developed at Real Sociedad’s Zubieta academy and progressed to the club’s reserve side, Sanse, making 82 appearances and scoring eight goals in five seasons in Segunda División B. Guridi made his La Liga debut for Real Sociedad against Alavés in March 2017, but a serious knee injury soon interrupted his progress. After returning, he joined Mirandés on loan in January 2019, helping the club win promotion and reach the 2019–20 Copa del Rey semi-finals. He returned to Real Sociedad and was part of the squad that won the delayed 2020 Copa del Rey. In July 2022, Guridi moved permanently to Alavés, where he became an important midfield presence. His game combines short passing, defensive work and positional discipline.
