Jofre Carreras Pagès

Jofre Carreras, a right winger, was born in Girona, Spain, on 17 June 2001. He developed with Girona FC and Grup Excursionista i Esportiu Gironí before joining Espanyol’s academy in 2014. Carreras made his senior debut for Espanyol B in Segunda División B on 10 February 2019. He made his professional debut in September 2020, appearing as a substitute in Espanyol’s 2–0 win over Real Oviedo in Segunda División. His La Liga debut followed on 31 December 2021 against Valencia, when he won a penalty and supplied an assist in a 2–1 victory. He spent 2022–23 on loan at Mirandés, gaining regular second-tier football and scoring against Sporting de Gijón in March 2023. Back at Espanyol, he recorded three goals and four assists in 39 Segunda División appearances in 2023–24, and he remains with the club after a contract extension through June 2029.
