Joan Jordán Moreno

Joan Jordán is a Spanish central midfielder whose right-footed game combines circulation, vertical passing and defensive coverage. Born in Girona in 1994, he developed through Espanyol’s youth system and reserves, making his La Liga debut in 2014. He then joined Eibar in 2017, where he became a regular and scored 10 goals across two seasons. In 2019, Joan Jordán moved to Sevilla, becoming an important midfielder in a side that won the UEFA Europa League in 2020 and 2023. At Sevilla, he operated from deeper midfield positions, helping circulate possession, switch play and deliver set pieces while pressing and covering space. In August 2024, he joined Alavés on a season-long loan and scored five goals in 25 appearances. He is currently listed with Estrela, following earlier spells at Espanyol, Eibar and Sevilla.
