Jaime Suárez Juesas

Jaime Suárez Juesas, known as Jimmy, is a Spanish central midfielder born in Oviedo on 31 December 1996. He developed at Colegio Los Robles, Fútbol Centro Asturiano Oviedo and Astur CF before joining Real Oviedo’s youth system in 2013. A loan to Astur CF in 2015–16 gave him senior football experience in Spain’s Tercera División. Returning to Oviedo, Jimmy spent three seasons with Real Oviedo Vetusta, the club’s reserve side, before making his professional debut against Deportivo de La Coruña in March 2019. He then became part of Oviedo’s first team and was named one of the club’s captains for 2021–22. A holding midfielder, he is primarily used to protect the defence and break up play, while offering positional discipline in central areas. After leaving Oviedo, he played for AEK Larnaca and is currently listed with Huesca.
