Jesús Vázquez Alcalde

Jesús Vázquez is a Spanish defender, born in Mérida on 2 January 2003, who has spent his senior career with Valencia. He joined Valencia’s academy at five and progressed through the club’s youth structure before making his Valencia Mestalla debut in November 2020. Vázquez entered the senior side the following month, appearing in Valencia’s Copa del Rey victory over Terrassa. He made his La Liga debut on 28 August 2021, coming on in a win against Deportivo Alavés. A left-back by trade, Jesús Vázquez has also been described as capable of operating farther forward on the left, giving Valencia an additional positional option. His progress was interrupted in 2023 by a neuromotor disorder, but he returned to competitive action later that year. Valencia extended his contract to 2028 in 2025, and he remains part of the first-team squad.
