Javier Muñoz Jiménez

Javi Muñoz, full name Javier Muñoz Jiménez, is a Spanish central midfielder born in Parla on 28 February 1995. He began at CP Parla Escuela before joining Real Madrid’s academy in 2006, where he developed through the youth ranks. Muñoz made his senior debut for Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey against Cornellà on 2 December 2014, entering as a substitute in a 5–0 win. He then built experience with Lorca FC, Real Oviedo, Tenerife and Mirandés during a sequence of loans or short-term spells. In 2021, he joined Eibar, where he established himself over two seasons in Segunda División. Muñoz moved to Las Palmas in 2023 and became a regular in midfield during the 2023–24 campaign. He later continued his career with Getafe, retaining a role centred on linking play and contributing defensive work from the middle.
