Javier Hernández Cabrera

Javi Hernández, whose full name is Javier Hernández Cabrera, is a Spanish left-back born in Jerez de la Frontera in 1998. He developed with Torrecera and La Granja before joining Sevilla’s academy, then moved to Real Madrid in 2013. With Madrid’s youth teams, he won the División de Honor Juvenil and Copa del Rey Juvenil in 2017. His senior pathway began at El Ejido in 2017–18, followed by Real Oviedo in the Segunda División, where he scored his first professional goal against Numancia in January 2019. After returning to Real Madrid Castilla, Hernández signed for Leganés in 2020. He later joined Girona on loan, making his La Liga debut and scoring against Almería in a 6–2 victory in February 2023, before spending the 2023–24 season with Cádiz. Left-footed and 185 centimetres tall, Javi Hernández can also play centre-back, offering defensive versatility and a passing option in buildup.
